WEEKEND CRAFTING

CHRISTMAS GIFTS BEING MADE

If you are following my blog you have noticed that I have been making
"Junk Journals". They are created by collecting papers of various types,
miscellaneous items that tend to be junk and etc. Well, in one of my
shopping ventures I picked up an old Golden Book "The Animals Christmas Eve".
On the inside cover was a familiar name of one of my friends children from years ago.
How cool is that!
Well, that called for a Christmas "Junk Journal" for a special friend.
Can't wait to give it to her. Below is the result of my treasured find.

A very special person gave me boxes full of miscellaneous Christmas items
for me to craft with. I used lots of them today along with napkins and made
a black, white and silver Christmas wreath for them.

FUN FRIDAY

A beautiful Friday crafting and playing. I was given some strands of
colored Christmas lights and here are a few things that I did with them.

I Modpodged and glittered the bulbs and then made
gift tags/embellishments/ornaments.

I embellished this frame with glittered bulbs, added
a scene using Stampin Up products and attached
Tim Holtz elf with gifts on an AccuCut tree.

This one is really hard to see how pretty it is, but
it began with a wine bottle, covered with jute, embellished
with bulbs, greenery pine cones and such and topped
with a tea light. It is really pretty when the lights are turned low.

The above cutouts are from AccuCut dies and embellished.
The sleigh isn't finished yet, so be sure to check back in to
see the end results.

Christmas Crafts

I played a little bit in my studio today and this is
what the results were.

The train was created from AccuCut Craft Dies and embellished with various papers and etc.
Three of the four cars are open on the top so that they can be filled with goodies.

The Christmas tree is a mini album that favorite photos of the holiday can be
placed on the photo mats and treasured for years to come.
This is also a set of dies from AccuCut.

This tree is covered with branches from Stampin Up attached to a tree base from AccuCut
and the nativity is from Heartfelt Creations.

This set is another tree from AccuCut and the elf is a Tim Holtz die set.
Just love that little guy.  I'm not sure I have finished this yet, thinking of
adding a bit more to it and putting it in another setting.
Although, just adding a ribbon to this one and the other tree, can make
cute ornaments.
