I'm coming to the realizations that I am addicted to card making and creating.

The background of this card is from our day playing with alcohol inks.

I love the effect that they create, not to mention what they add to a card.

The inside of the card is done with some stash paper which worked perfect!

Wednesday Play Day!!!  

I love it when the girls show up at my door to play.

Here's what we did.

We did some water coloring using Stampin Up stamps

Kathi had us silver emboss the rose and sentiment.

I added the embossed border along with some splattering and 

glitter in the open areas of the rose.

Got the idea for this card from "vertical cards" in Pinterest.

We then played with some water coloring and alcohol inks.  Too fun!

I'm trying to get back in routine again after the holidays. 

Started working on some Valentine cards and crafts. 

Here they are.

The front of the card above, I used wood and heart embossing folders 

to do the tree and the heart cut-out.  The leaves and hearts are punches 

from Stampin Up. The inside I used The Stamps of Life "Squirrels2love" 

stamp set and colored with Copic markers.

The heart was cut out with AccuCut dies and woven together. The flowers are

Heartfelt "Arianna Blooms.

Best way to spend your day when you're feeling a little under the weather. Playing in my Studio!!!

I had to squeeze in a card today after putting the binding on a  quilt that has been sitting without one for too long. I created the flowers with Heartfelt Creations Dogwood set. I love that set and I will be using it alot! https://www.heartfeltcreations.us

Easter is April 16th this year, which for cardmakers, it's just right around the corner. I found this "Stand and Slide" card on YouTube the other day and immediately saw an Easter card to make using the technique. I just found the most amazing tool ever!!! It has probably been around forever, too, but new to me. It is Pinterest Sort on Chrome.Google.com I just loaded it, clicked on sort options and wa la, my boards are alphabetized! Love it. I have been working on my boards today, separating my cards into categories for easier viewing. I have been playing with my Copic markers using a digital stamp from Power Poppy and the heart is an original drawing I did the other night.
