FALL FEELING WITH EMBELLISHMENTS AND MORE
Thursday, August 20, 2020
AUGUST 19TH 2020
I told the girls to save their empty toilet paper rolls so they can flatten and distress and emboss them to use in future projects and that is what Sandy did here with her card.
We had a visitor join us and Heather shared this trifold card with us. She needs to visit us more often!
This was the last card of the day and I gave the girls some scraps to tear and arrange of the card.
I put together these cards using my hexagon punch just before the gals came,
The three embellished cards are altered Bingo cards. I'm going to put them in my Junk Journal.
This was created with layering starburst dies. Not sure where they will end up at or in
but they were fun to create.

WEDNESDAY CREATIONS
Love this card. I used the Best Plaid Builder die set and Way to Goat stamp set
This card was shared by one of the gals using a very retired Stampin up set and water coloring
I love this little back pack. Found this at https://www.pinterest.com/pin/226517056248131493/Saturday, August 1, 2020
Ribbon Dolls
So Much Fun!!!
I am part of a group called
Trading ATC and Art/Craft supplies
and we did a "Ribbon Doll" swap. I had never heard of them before
but once I started making them, I was hooked.
Another swap I was recently involved with is "Scripture Sticks".
Didn't know what those were either but put my thoughts together and this is what I came up with
Not a swap but something close to my heart!
Awhile back, I made some thank you cards for Banner University Hospital in Phoenix
where my son, Brian spent 45+ days in ICU battling for his life.
Well, recently, I have had a desire to send another batch of "Thank You's" to them
as they continue to battle the visus that is playing havoc with us.
The medical staff at Banner are awesome and I just want them to know how much
we appreciate them and what they do. That goes for all the nurses, doc's and others
who put in long hard hours always to help others. I have two nurses in my family and
I can never express my graditude to them!
So here is what I am making and sending this time. They are "Thank You Hearts" that
have a paperclip on the back to be attached to whatever.
The folded hearts came from Gi Kerr on YouTube
WEDNESDAY CARD GROUP PROJECTS
These boxes we made will organize our labels that we stamp and punch out.
We can insert the labels to have already made up and ready to use on the next project.
I got the idea from Liz thepaperproject on YouTube
Currently, I am working on my Junk Journals so pictures soon to come.
